  1. Two types of GRADE GUIDE licenses are provided: individual and site.
  2.  
  3. An INDIVIDUAL LICENSE is granted to one individual who may use the
  4. program on any number of computers and make as many copies of the
  5. program as desired for personal use.  Payment for an individual license
  6. is $40 (US) and should be sent to Jon Kane.  Persons outside the United
  7. States, Canada, and Mexico should include an extra $5 (US) for shipping.

  9. GRADE GUIDE can print order forms as part of its on-line help facility. 
  10. If your payment is being sent by a third party (such as the school
  11. purchasing agent), send notification of your payment to Jon Kane so the
  12. license can be registered in your name.  
  13.  
  14. Each user of GRADE GUIDE is required to register.  Registration is not
  15. automatically extended to a user's spouse or other family members.  If a
  16. household has one registered user, a second person at that household may
  17. be licensed to use the program by sending the name of the second person
  18. and an additional $10 fee.   This second license entitles the second
  19. person to use the program, but it does NOT entitle the second person to
  20. an additional copy of the program or an additional copy of the
  21. documentation since adequate access to these materials should already be
  22. available.  The second person license cannot be extended to a third
  23. person and is not available to persons not sharing the same home
  24. address.  A discount of twenty percent is offered when five or more
  25. individual licenses are ordered at the same time in one package.  Names
  26. and addresses of each of the individuals ordering must be included in
  27. the package.

  29. A SITE LICENSE is also available for any organization (department,
  30. school, college, university, school district, and so forth).  A site
  31. license grants a specified number of people at that site or institution
  32. the right to use the program as long as they remain employed at that
  33. institution.  It also can include the making of minor modifications to
  34. GRADE GUIDE for special use at that site.  Site licenses are offered to
  35. groups of 10 or more users.  The cost of a site license depends on the
  36. number of GRADE GUIDE users at the site according to the following
  37. table.  Organizations wanting a site license independent of the number
  38. of users at that site should contact Jon Kane to obtain pricing
  39. information based on the number of employees at the organization.  Two
  40. instruction manuals are provided with each site license.  Additional
  41. instruction manuals may be purchased for a charge of $10 each.  
  42. Applications for site licenses can be printed by the GRADE GUIDE help
  43. facility.
